Music Hall of Famer, legendary Motown & Progressive Jazz-Rock Bassist, Composer, Producer TONY NEWTON releases his version of famed composer Gustav Holst of “The Planets Suite” “MARS (ECLIPSE). Newton, a 2020 Akademia Artist of the Year, and 2021 Rising Star Awards blasts in the 2022 New Year with his remarkable sound, music adventure and music video adding to his already large body of musical works playing on over 100 hit recordings and over six-plus award-winning albums including his latest bombshell “White Light Collection.”

Mars Eclipse is a brilliant arrangement by Newton taken by Tony Newton and created for the contemporary, eclectic ear, mind, and soul, ultimately becoming a remarkable and historic piece of music art from a Black-American composer at this time in music's history.

In the works from Newton is a full length immersive 90-minute film depicting the beginning of the Space Age through contemporary times and future plans for Mars colonization.
